Our Services: Assessments

Understanding the readiness, current risks, threats and vulnerabilities at a facility, site or area is the first step in understanding how and what to plan for, mitigate, and be prepared to respond or recover from.  Assessments are the first step in this process.  Our consultants specialize in assessments in order to identify preparedness challenges. Some of the types of assessments our consultants perform include:

  • Plan Assessments and Capability Assessments – Performing gap analysis to determine preparedness strengths and weaknesses for organizations, agencies, and facilities
  • Site Assessments-Specific Security Threat & Vulnerability Assessment Reports (aka TVA or SVA)
  • Summary Assessments (by nature of business/industry & related security issues)
  • Campus Security & Vulnerability Assessment Reports (multiple facilities/buildings in a contiguous area)
  • Automated Critical Asset Management System (ACAMS) for Protected Critical Infrastructure

Our consultants conduct a thorough analysis to create a comprehensive gap profile and match it with potential solutions in order to mitigate risks and preparedness challenges. These solutions may include upgrading existing plans, increasing training readiness, improving specific security systems, adding additional systems, integration of specific training and drills, and response solutions, including security devices. A summary of our findings can be included in a final report that provides a comprehensive list of recommendations and improvement strategies inclusive of cost/benefit analysis, so clients understand how to maximize their time use and capital.
